Alaska

Just because . . .
an attractive photo of this capitol is so rare.

Most photos of this capitol are rather boring. This
one was taken from the park across the street. It's
nice to see greenery and a sculpture instead of the
overpowering buildings in the area. Very nice.

Just because . . .
this is such a different, composed shot.

Even after all my research on the Dover capitol,
I had no idea the setting is so lovely until I found
this artistic shot.

Just because . . .
it's a great image that should not be ignored.

I will be using this photo for some great detail
images, and the original is too good to be left out.

Just because . . .
I never would have guessed

dome repairs are done with mountain climbing
equipment, and this perfect shot caught one.

Just because . . .
the effort behind this photo deserves notice.

Business took my husband down to our State Capital,
and he was gracious enough to get several photos of
the capitol building for me. Thank you, Michael.

Indiana

Just because . . .
this is such a fine image.

Indiana's is not the easiest capitol to photograph,
and this great shot even has a quaint horse and
carriage adding interest to the composition.

Oregon

Old column, new drum

Just because . . .
I like it.

The text the photographer has by this photo
says the dark column in front is from a previous
capitol that had been on the same site but
burned. The alignment with the drum was for fun,
and I find the effect quite interesting and worth
presenting here.

Just because . . .
I took these myself . . .

The front with the awesome
fountain sculpture.

and
I think they're great . . .

The front with a splendidly
raucous floral display.

and
I'd like to share them.

Just because . . .
the special effects are so intriguing.

This is the rotunda as seen through a . . . fisheye? How
could I not include this fantastic image?

Just because . . .
I need to do this photo justice.

This is the image I cropped for the front entrance shot on
another page, and since it is such a great picture, clear
and bright and composed, I wanted to show the original
version also.
